Series of Free Web 2.0 and Social Web Workshops

A one-day workshop, sponsored by the MLA, introducing Web 2.0 and the Social Web to museums, libraries and archives staff will be touring the country in the next few months. Text Mining for Scholarly Communications and Repositories Joint Workshop

UKOLN is co-hosting an open workshop with the National Centre for Text Mining NaCTeM on 28-29 October 2009. The Joint Workshop will be held at the Manchester Interdisciplinary Biocentre, University of Manchester. The Keynote presentation titled “eScience and Semantic Computing” will be given by Professor Tony Hey, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft External Research.
