Guidelines for implementing Dublin Core in XML become DCMI Recommendation
April 9th, 2003 by Thom BuntingThe Guidelines for implementing Dublin Core in XML by Andy Powell and Pete Johnston is now a DCMI Recommendation. This document considers both simple (unqualified) DC and qualified DC applications. At the same time, a new set of XML schemas have been published. These support the encoding of Qualified Dublin Core metadata records, including the use of element refinements and encoding schemes, and follow the conventions described in Guidelines for expressing Dublin Core in XML.
