Ariadne Tenth Anniversary Issue

The tenth anniversary issue of Ariadne has appeared containing specially commissioned articles on the developments that have occurred in the lifetime of the Magazine and their authors” view on potential changes for the future. Peter Brophy, Reg Carr, Lorcan Dempsey, Patrick Lauke, Derek Law, Clifford Lynch, John MacColl, Charles Oppenheim and Chris Rusbridge have all contributed to this issue supported by submissions on reviews and events in the usual way. We are confident that readers will all find something to engage their interest in this reflective decennial issue of Ariadne.

Relational Collections Model Extended

Michael Heaney of Oxford University Library Services has extended his entity-relation model of collections and their catalogues to include modelling of the means by which users obtain access to collections. The result is a new document “Users and Information Resources: An
