DC-assist, UKOLN”s help utility for metadata applications, has been updated to include details and examples for all the metadata terms currently in DCMI maintained namespaces (67 terms). The software includes 130 examples of how to use the terms and these are displayed using the DCMI recommended XHTML syntax.

Monday, March 21st, 2005registration is now open for this workshop, to be held at The Foundation for Research and Technology (FORTH), Heraklion, Crete 11-13 May, 2005. The workshop will focus on the role of repositories within e-learning and e-research and related digital library services, and will consider such repositories as providers of both preservation and access services.
