Vacancy for Subject Portal Project Manager

The Subject Portal Project will develop portal services that provide subject-based access to the wide range of networked learning and research materials available to UK HE and FE. UKOLN currently has a vacancy for a project manager for this activity. The closing date is 18 October 2001.

Network problems

Apologies to those of you who have seen very slow access to the UKOLN Web services (www.ukoln.ac.uk, www.ariadne.ac.uk, www.rdn.ac.uk, etc.) recently. This was caused by significant problems on the University of Bath network which we hope have now been resolved.
