How to preserve integrity of meaning, contents, context, use and perception of library data in an open data scenario while the internet “is being separated into a series of intranets that reflect countries security concerns” (Financial Times Magazine, October 9 2010 p. 19) and there is an increasing pressure on efficiency of resources?

I will be pleased to
- present some ideas (about 10 minutes highlighting current priorities and issues of cataloguing and records management processes)
- facilitate a discussion (max 50 minutes) about “collaborative information e-policies”.

as we see presentations about Solr – I would like to present you in a workshop the OpenSource Addon for Primo which allows search of Solr/Lucene indexes: http://www.exlibrisgroup.org/display/PrimoCC/Primo+CMS+Solr+Websearch+Adaptor.
I will use an example where I have integrated the German National Licenses (http://finden.nationallizenzen.de/ ->licensed publisher data in a Solr/Lucene index) on our local server. I hope you are interested in seeing this.

Best,

Timm
