Lewisham Heritage (part of Lewisham Council) has been developing the use of wikis to get archive material out into the community and enable residents, etc, to contribute memories and information to the official archive. Since opening access to the wiki in November 2008 it has developed apace, with contributions from volunteers and over 2,000 visits and 20,000 views.
